Hand Forged Knives
Each of these starts at the forge and finishes at the stitching pony. I forge the blade, then I make the sheath that goes with it.
The patterns come from real Scandinavian ornamental traditions, not from a fantasy catalogue, and each one is tooled into the leather by hand.
They're made in very small numbers. When one is gone, the next won't be identical.
The blade and the sheath
Every knife is forged individually. No two are exactly alike, in profile or in hardening line.
The sheath is made for its blade, not adapted from a template. It holds the knife by friction, with no strap.
Vegetable-tanned leather, tooled, dyed and stitched by hand.
The rest of the workshop: handmade leather goods, and printable patterns to build your own.
