Payment

You can pay your order using Paypal. I also accept any credit cards available with Stripe.

Shipping

 

I live in France but I ship worldwide. However, some countries don't allow importation of leather goods, so please your national customs regulations before placing your order. The cost of shipping depends on the weight of your order and is automatically calculated. Please allow 1-5 business days for order preparation and shipping. All orders are shipped with Colissimo or Chronopost delivery in France and worldwide and usually delivered with 2-10 days depending on the country of destination. A tracking will be send by email as soon as your order as been shipped.
For faster delivery, UPS International and DHL Express shipping are also available on demand by email to redsmithleatherwork@gmail.com with additional cost. The duty fees and taxes are not included in the shipping and you may need to pay for the duty fees and taxes at the time of claiming or collection your package.

 

Custom orders and commission work

Some of the items on my shop are available with options. I also do custom and commission work upon requests. To discuss such orders, please contact me using to "contact me" page or directly end an email to theredsmith@hotmail.com with your requests, details, deadline and size. I will answer your email and send you a quote within 48 hours. However, I can't answer positively to all requests, depending on my schedule and the nature of the project. Thanks for understanding.

Can I cancel my order ?

 

Yes. You can cancel an order with two hours of placing it. To request a cancellation, please send an email with your personal informations and order number at redsmithleatherwork@gmail.com.

 

Returns, refunds and exchange policy

In order to return an item, you must contact me with 14 days of delivery and we I provide instructions. You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your items, unless it was defective or sent in error. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in new condition and in original package. I do not accept return on personalised items or commission work. Once your return is received and inspected, I will inform you by email that we have received your returned item. Your refund, if applicable, will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Processing time will depend on your method of payment and your bank's policy. If you have not received your refund within 10 days, please contact me at redsmithleatherwork@gmail.com.
Items lost during delivery are not eligible to refunds. Patterns will not be refunded.

For an exchange, you must contact me with 14 days of delivery and I will provide instructions on how to proceed with an exchange. Send me an email at redsmithleatherwork@g
mail.com and please include your personal informations and order number. Please note, I do not accept exchanges for used and personalised items.
 

 

Warranty
 

All my items are guaranteed by the laws of my country for manufacturing defects. If you believe that your leather item has a manufacturing defect, please email me at theredsmith@hotmail.com with photos of the issue, as well as proof of purchase. Proof of purchase can be in the form of either a confirmation email or order number. Please note that leather items require maintenance. I will not grant warranty for misuse, natural aging/wear/tear of the leather, lack of maintenance or abuse.


Leather
I believe in the toughness and durability of the full-grain leather I use. Straps and leather hides should never break, tear or develop holes even around the area of natural character mark if used as intended. I will be happy to replace the straps if this happens for the cost of shipping.

 

Hardware 
Rivets, snaps, and metal hardware are guaranteed for the life of your item.  If something breaks within the first 6 months of use, let me know and we’ll set you up with a repair. After that, simply cover the cost to ship your item to our workshop and we’ll cover the cost of materials and labor. For products over two years old, I will still happy to repair any broken hardware, but I will just ask that you cover all shipping costs to and from my workshop and the cost of new hardware.


Stitching
If the stitching is faulty due to a manufacturing error, I will repair the stitching free of charge, or if the stitching cannot be repaired, I will replace your item within the first 90 days of purchase. If the seam is coming apart due to wear and tear, I simply ask that you cover the shipping charges to and from our workshop so I can make the repair.  Unfortunately, internal seams are not always accessible and cannot be repaired. Take care not to over-stress these seams, so they can stay sturdy for years to come!


Zippers
Please note that zippers are not under warranty. Take care not to over-stuff your zippered item, as increased tension can cause tears in the zipper fabric.
