Some of my creations
This is the workshop's back catalogue, not the shop. Most of the pieces below were made once, for one person, and never made again: commissions, props built to a convention deadline, and a few personal builds started simply because I wanted to know whether the thing could be done.
They are here for two reasons. If you are weighing up a commission, this is the honest measure of what comes out of the workshop. And if you make things yourself, several of these pieces are the originals the patterns in the shop were drawn from. I build the piece first, then draw the pattern from the one I made.
Armour and cosplay pieces
Vambraces in the style of Gondor armour, a layered vambrace after Assassin's Creed Origins, a steampunk holster plated in brass and riveted, a shield and backpack inspired by Breath of the Wild. These are the pieces built to be worn and carried for a full weekend, not just photographed once.
Props from games and films
A Middle-Earth map engraved into vegetable-tanned leather, a pirate treasure map aged by hand, a cowboy hat and gun belt in the style of Arthur Morgan, and the matching holsters. Pieces like these start with the drawing, not the leather: if the artwork does not read from across a room, nothing I do to the hide afterwards will save it.
Boards and games
Two chess sets, one in burgundy and white with handmade pieces, one in brown and black with pieces turned from copper and steel tubing. A Hnefatafl board tooled with a geometric pattern and a Celtic knot. Leather makes a board that rolls up and travels, which wood never does.
Everyday leather
A minimalist hand-stitched wallet, a sheath for a Leatherman multitool, a tooled guitar strap in burgundy and black, a hand-stitched dog collar, a round veg-tan bag for a bike or a motorcycle with a laser-engraved pattern, a hair barrette carrying an Eye of Horus, a blacksmith-style cuff, and a run of medieval coin pouches. The quiet half of the workshop, and the half that gets used every day.
Blades
The sheath cut for the first knife I forged. Every knife that has left the workshop since has had its sheath made the same way, by hand, around the blade it belongs to.
