My name is Red Smith. I'm a full-time leather craftsman based in France.

I've been making things from leather since 2007 — what started as curiosity became a trade. I now specialize in pieces inspired by video games, films, and fantasy universes: cosplay props, LARP gear, holsters, bags, belts, armour, and everything in between. The kind of things you don't find in a shop.

My current flagship project is a complete John Marston costume from Red Dead Redemption 2 — built entirely from leather, piece by piece, each one documented in a dedicated video. The hat. The jacket. The holster. The boots. All of it.

I also work with steel. I forge knives by hand, build the sheaths to match, and occasionally disappear into woodworking when the mood strikes.

On YouTube, I film the full build process — no shortcuts, no fast cuts, no summary. Just the work, start to finish. If you want to understand how something is made, that's where to look. If you want to make it yourself, the patterns are in the shop.
