A classic bifold wallet in vegetable-tanned leather - a 10-page pattern printed 1:1, and the full build filmed from first cut to last coat of finish.
Card slots, a full-width bill compartment, and a fold that closes flat instead of gaping after a month. The stitching holes are punched from the face on part A and from the back on every other part, so the two sides meet exactly where they should - the detail that separates a wallet you keep from one you don't.
Leather and thread. Around 0.16 m² (248 sq in), cut from a 32 × 50 cm piece. 2.5 mm (5-6 oz) and 1.2 mm (4 oz) for parts A and B, 0.8 mm (2-3 oz) for everything else. 0.8 mm waxed thread, brown and black dye, black edge paint, Tokonole, neatsfoot oil and a leather finish.
Tools. Utility knife, edge beveler, edge creaser, 4 mm diamond hole punch, mallet, two needles, cotton dauber, tracing paper and pencil.
Adjustments may be needed depending on the thickness and stretch of your leather - the pattern says where. Print the 10 A4 pages at 100% with zero margins, tape the sheets together, cut, and follow the video.
