Eivor's quiver from Assassin's Creed Valhalla, rebuilt in vegetable-tanned leather - an 18-page pattern printed 1:1, and the full build filmed from first cut to last coat of finish.
This one is carving work as much as assembly. The Norse knotwork is cut with a swivel knife and beveled by hand, then picked out in silver paint over a dark dye so the pattern reads from across a field. The body is stitched and laced, the strap adjusts on a 40 mm buckle, and two 30 mm rings take the weight where it should sit - across the back, quiver angled for a clean draw.
Leather and hardware. Around 0.33 m² / 3,300 cm² (512 sq in) of 2.5 mm (5-6 oz) vegetable-tanned leather. Two 30 mm rings, a 40 mm buckle, 6 mm rivets, 5 m of 3 mm brown leather lace and 5 mm beige cotton cord. Dye, silver leather paint, neatsfoot oil and Tokonole for the edges.
Tools. Utility knife, 3 mm punch, edge beveler, swivel knife, beveling stamp, cotton dauber, mallet, lacing needle, burnisher.
